Thursday Afternoons 12pm-2pm
- Clay exploration
Learn the basic potter's wheel techniques as well as hand building techniques including pinching, modeling, coiling, extruding and slab work to create utilitarian and sculptural objects for any season around the home, office or garden. The goal for this class is to create a lasting work of art, while becoming familiar with the ceramic process and studio tools.
Class includes 25 pounds of clay and open studio hours.

This class is a great way to relax and explore your creative spirit. This is play with a capital āPā. In this studio introduction of the ceramic process, you will learn the basic tools and skills of turning and trimming while making cups, mugs, bowls and vases on the potter's wheel. By working in the clay process you will develop a deep appreciation for ceramic art and craft that will inform your clay voice and discover how clay has a way of enriching your daily experience. Class includes 25 pounds of clay, firing fees and open studio hours.
